Word from the Director

It gives me pleasure to highlight a few insights into Calmadow Construction and Contractor Company (Calmadow) for you, our most valued clients and partners. Calmadow is a private initiative by indigenous Somali professionals in the engineering, business and construction arena. They came together, united in a patriotic need to bring back the glamour and glitter to the construction industry in a Somalia that had been battered out of shape by many years of conflict.

At Calmadow, we fuse the traditional and modern technologies to build houses, offices, roads, mosques, wells and bekeds, to name just a few. We have architects, civil, mechanical and water engineers, planners and business experts among others who put their varied expertise to give the much sought after alluring touch needed to grow your business or structural idea into a real design for development. We undertake minute projects such as a borehole, residential house or apartment as well as mega projects, such as development of an entire dam, road, shopping mall, factory, housing estate and offices.

We have been tried and came out through with accolades for being timely and efficient with utilisation of human and financial resources. Quality is our mark of excellence in all the business we engage in with our clients.
